Architectural drawings are the property of the architect and will remain the property of the architect. They may not be copied or redistributed without the express written consent of the architect. All project related intellectual property created by the architect during the course of the project shall remain the property of the architect. Any unauthorized use of the architectural drawings shall result in legal action. All modifications to the drawings must be approved by the architect. The architect reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time.

Receipt of the drawings is not a license to utilize them in any way to construct, design, bid, or develop projects without intent expressed by the Architect. If drawings are utilized in a manner not consistent with the terms and conditions agreed to at the contract signing with any and all parties then the Architect shall be held harmless for any defect, error, or omission that is created through the use of these drawings.

Drawings that are provided without the authorized stamp AND signature of the architect are not for construction or permitting use unless expressly consented to by the architect. Liability of the Architect does not extend beyond the design intent expressed through these drawings. Any recommendations or illustrations showing means and methods of construction are to be solely suggestive in nature and do not govern the best practice recommendations that are established in the construction documents.
